I took A for her allergy shot today. The injection nurse is also my dr.'s nurse. She got me on the schedule for while we were there. My 3rd sinus infection this year. Went to Walgreens to get my medicine and decided to get myself some bubbles (pop). A comfort thing. So my medicine is $10, which we get reimbursed for.
The pop is on sale 4/$5 and I have a $3 RR.
I also have a coupon for free 5 ct. of Claritin.
I have my coupon for $2 off Jane. I have been keeping an eye out for the brushes that are free after rebate. They were in today! ! The brush is 4.99 before coupon, I see a display of 20 ounce pop with coupons, buy 2 get $1 off. grab a couple, cause hey I am sick.
Do 3 transactions at the register (not counting the pharmacy.)
The 4 pop totals $2.32.
The claritin totals 0.38 (the tax).
The 2 pops, and brush wouldn't go through with my rr so I bought a 0.39 cent truffle. Total for that transaction...2.46
altogether $5.16 + prescription $10.00= $15.16
flexible acct. 10.00 + rebate 4.99 + 10% on my card $0.50 = profit of 0.33. The stamp is almost paid for! !
Can't believe I made money on being sick.
