Today's Favorite Child

Starting yesterday and then again today,
M ranks as my favorite child of the day.
Why, would I have a favorite? ?

Well she thinks I am 24 years old.
And in three weeks I will be 25 !
The other 2 older ones just laughed hysterically.
As they roll with laughter,
I just calmly announce "M you are my Favorite Child today!"
The oldest of course gets indignant and asks,

"Daddy can I be your favorite?"
He replies, "How old am I?"
This of course is after M mistakenly tells him he is "51, Oops, I meant 41."
A quickly tells dad he is "30"

All I can say is "Hey, honey which country is it legal for us to have been married?!?"

Simple Pleasures!

**Sunday night at home with the whole family

(no small group and we skipped youth group)

**a full night sleep with no little ones climbing into bed

(boy can they squirm)

**Monday night at home...dear hubby off work and can take the kids to hockey

** listening to a child read with no sibling interruptions

**playing uno with just one child

**a mother-in-law who is awake and able to spend time with family

before she is reunited with her heavenly Father

**Being the love of your preschooler son's life

(What will I do when they are all too cool for me)

**Scrabble with dear husband after the kids are in bed
