And Yet another Walgreens Trip

So dear sweet A wanted to shop for her friend's birthday and I promised her $10 in RR. So I gathered up my "plans" and off we went. Before we went I introduced the kids to Operation Christmas Child and they enthusiastically agreed to do a box each. I was hoping to do my Pro-Health deals but alas they were out of them as well. We did discover the $1 section in the store and made some great finds for Op. Christmas C.
I managed to ONLY spend $25.46 oop. I rec'd 10.00 in RR. It would have been $20 but for some reason the other $10 did not print. The manager was very kind and gave me a refund of $10.63. I then used that money to pay the little bits here and there on my other 4 transactions.
25.46 oop
10.37 in rebates
84.45 in savings (total retail value $109.91) That is an 86% savings after rebates! ! !!
10.00 in RR
Total spent $15.09 Next time I will have the RR to spend, even more savings to come! !
(on a side note, we didn't buy the calculator today... the kids were "helping" me this afternoon. )
Last night I was looking around on cashcrate.com and discovered how to get $5 in free postage and get paid $8 to sign up and get it! So my stamp for the rebate was free!

Sunday Savings

I was sooo excited about The $20 RR deals at Walgreens I headed out just after 5:30 am to do some shopping. I was really bummed cause they were out of the Pro Health Crest deals. They never had them to begin with. And today, the other Walgreens I shop at was completely out as well. After, I set everything out on the table for a picture D woke up and came to see my loot. Very excited for mommy. At the top of the Charmin are two truffles I had to get so the coupons could be put through. D kept saying "Chocolate, Chocolate". He loves chocolate, but is good about not eating any chocolate store bought. It is not "Happy Tummy". Only sissy's chocolate creations are "Happy Tummy." Spent $38.58 oop. $79.71 in savings. $40.00 in Register Rewards.
