Dad just sent everyone to bed to take a nap. I took a quick detour.
Daddy's Buddy asked if he could nap downstairs while "Monsters vs Aliens" was on.
Dad rented it yesterday.
Dad said, no you need to go take a nap and sleep.
Daddy's Buddy responded, "I am not going to watch it, I am going to listen to it while I sleep."
Hmmm, sounds a lot like what my dad and my husband do when football or some other game is on tv.
and guess what? It worked.
Dad has it on now and has told everyone they better start snoring!
So seriously doubt that is going to happen.
So much for naptime.
"Everything in the heavens and earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as being in control of everything. Riches and honor come from you alone, and you are the Ruler of all mankind; your hand controls power and might and it is at your discretion that men are made great and given strength" -1 Chronicles 29:11-12

While the men are away, we will play!
Hockey Player and Big-O-Daddy-O were in Tulsa for a hockey tournament.
I took the other 4 honyockers to Exploration Place for Free Museum Day.
The little guys were very into all that was there to discover. When the older 3 were little we had memeberships and we were there quite a bit. Now...not so much. Whenever we are available on free days. The highlight this time was making a bubble with themselves inside.

Foreign or Four In
More quoteables... today has been full of laughter.
We were talking about going to foreign countries.
To which the girls both asked if they had been to foreign countries.
The boys were off being honyockers (Big-O-Daddy-O's word....no bad conotations here...not rascals, not hooligans....honyockers!)
We explain Fun Mom has been to Canada with Mom and Dad.
No one else has been out to a foreign country.
Little Princess finally asks, "What is a foreign country?" "Is it FOUR IN countries together? Four in each other?" Big-O-Daddy-O was the only one able to maintain his composure. He very sweetly explained to her FOREIGN country and that it was not Four In Countries. Gotta love the sweetness of my girls....
Sugar and spice and everything nice (?)....

Isn't it Great.....?
to have kids?
They are so helpful.
Here let me show you how to set up the dvd player?
Here let me show you how to do this on the computer?
Here let me show you how to assign ring tones to people in your cell phone?
This latest resulted in quite a bit of laughter today.
To which I responded to Fun Mom, I could do it if I had enough time to fiddle around it and when I do have the time to fiddle with it, all I need is the want to at that very moment.
So she is playing with ring tones...
She finds one and says "this is very annoying."
I quickly respond, "Put that one on home." Ahem, the kids.
It took a moment and she responded, "That might be a little rude."
I laugh hysterically in the car!!!
She continues to fiddle and play ring tones.
She plays one titled "Old Ring".
Guess who she assigned that one to?
Grandmama! WHAT!,
Fun Mom quickly tries to explain, "It is not that she is old. She is just older and is the closest to being old, so it would be a good choice." Oh how I laugh, cause I know Grandmama is going to find out. She reads my blog. Tomorrow she is suppose to take Fun Mom shopping. Shopping, so she won't have to wear a day-glo yellow jacket in Ireland. Guess what might happen after all.....
Love you Mom!
Have fun with this one.
