Got a call from a dear friend tonight. Her sweet little princess fell and wacked her head really good, napped and woke throwing up. Off to the doctor.
On the way, she asked herself who she could call, who has experience with head injuries!
Viola! She thought of me.
So, does not suprise me.
Her sweet princess will be okay.
I was able to reassure the dear mom of sweet princess she was not over-reacting by taking her to the doctor.
Thank you Lord for answering the prayers of my young men and myself. We prayed for His healing hands to be on her, that she would arrive at the doctor's office better than she left home.
A couple of years ago, we experienced God's healing hands on N. He had fallen out of the fort and was momentarily unconscious. By the time we were seen in the ER, I got this long lecture on what to look for in a head injury and my dear sweet N did not have any of those symptoms (by the time the doctor saw him). To this day, I believe God healed him during the time we left home and the time the doctor saw him.
"Everything in the heavens and earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as being in control of everything. Riches and honor come from you alone, and you are the Ruler of all mankind; your hand controls power and might and it is at your discretion that men are made great and given strength" -1 Chronicles 29:11-12

Your toes are pink? ! ?
To D...
Who painted your toes?
I did !
No picture here, Dad was not quite thrilled his toe nails were pink. I knew better than to take a picture.
On the other hand he did a very nice job for being 3 yrs. old.
S told me, he walked into the dining room and caught him sitting there painting away.
He only did one foot.
Funny part, is my discovery was just before we went to the Y to go swimming.
While in the lazy river, he became distressed cause the pink was coming off.
"My paint, my paint is gone, my paint is washing off."
Hmmm, maybe we won't tell the dad that part.
There is still just enough there to show dad what a good job he did.
Won't dad be proud ! ? !

My kids new favorite song is ......
YMCA _ YMCA _ YMCA
I hear it all day, and in the car the whole way.
They love to cool off at the YMCA waterpark 5 or 6 miles from our home. Must say it sure helps them sleep really well. It also keeps them away from the tv. They get along a whole lot better when they are in the water. The only downer is how hungry they are this week. Today, M had seconds, thirds, fourths, then there was nothing left at lunchtime so she raided the refrigerator. Fruit, yogurt and who knows what else she consumed before she felt full. I know she ate a whole lot of steamed carrots.

Bedtime ~
So there is lots of bedtime drama around here.
Tonight I did find just a wee bit of humor during all the drama. (courtesy of Nathan, of course)
"But I don't want to go to bed till 2030." In response to my it is after 800.
My response, "But you are late then, cause it is 2047, you are 17 minutes late for bed."
A call to dad to confirm there is such a time, military time. Still more drama follows, but for once I cause a silent stutter, pause, cause I had a quick response to that one statement.
It helps that I had just sent an email and noted the time in my head.
I love it when God feeds my brain with quick retorts for my kids.
