Summer at the Clarks means trips to the ER

Well at least one trip to the ER. This year it was N's turn. He was fighting with his brother around the stairs. Dad was at the store. Kaboom. There were tears, mom patted his back and off he went back to play. Ten minutes later, the kids are trying to figure out what all this red stuff is around the basement. Hmmm doesn't taste like popsicles says the oldest! Now, Mom notices some red stuff on her hands. N comes over to show mom the red stuff he can't get off his hand.... LIGHT BULB MOMENT this is blood! I turn N around and there is blood just running down the back of his head onto his neck. Boy this crew is trained. Everyone knew what to do, get mom the phone, get a washcloth, find shoes for mom, get N in the car. A neighbor came and sat with the kids until dad got home! 3 Staples later we were back home and going to bed. Staples! that is a new one for this mom. I survived. Must say I wonder if I could do that myself if there is a need. HAHAHAHA Battle Wounds, he has a story for church and Sunday school now.
