"Everything in the heavens and earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as being in control of everything. Riches and honor come from you alone, and you are the Ruler of all mankind; your hand controls power and might and it is at your discretion that men are made great and given strength" -1 Chronicles 29:11-12

Food, Friends and Family
We are a part of an awesome friendship homeschool group. Very laid back! A must for this busy homeschool mom who never seems to get it all done. We had our fall family party. Potluck style at a open shelter park. One of the dads caught a fish earlier in the day and needed to filet it for lunch the next day. So what does a group of homeschoolers do? They hang out and watch and learn. The boys were so engrossed in the process. Of course, I took pictures. They were the only pictures I took that night! So if you get squeemish, quickly roll past our slideshow. I have seen fish cleaned, but this time, he wasn't slitting the middle and pulling the guts out. He was skinning the fish and cutting out the filet. The crazy part was the fist was still alive when he started. Oh, the jokes that rolled around. Now the kids know it is possible to be skinned alive! !
